Of the mini lessons, the charcoal drawing was the hardest for me because I struggled with blending the charcoal and I have never used it before. The easiest mini lesson was the candy drawing because I had the candy in front of me to draw and it was a more simple drawing.
I communicate through my work: I have communicated through this piece about my interests and passions. I displayed three of my interests: playing the piano, animals, and art (through the painting on the wall.) I have communicated what I love to do and what is important to me when I created this piece.
I solve problems: While doing this piece, I had to fix many problems that occurred along the way. When planning out where the objects would be arranged, I struggled to find a way for everything to go together well and had to change my plans constantly about where I would put different things and the pictures and what items would be in it. Another problem that occurred was while I was using a paper towel to blend the pencil around the piano, I didn't realize it was also touching the black on the piano keys and smudging it everywhere. I had to go back and erase and redo a lot of the keys in order to fix this problem.
